Zero Waste

Zero Waste

Plastic, though only invented a little over a century ago, became widely used in the 1950s and ‘60s, appearing in countless everyday products from microwaves to sports gear. Although its usage is relatively recent, plastic pollution has grown to be one of the world’s largest environmental challenges. In fact, 60-90% of ocean debris consists of plastic fragments, many of which end up in marine life as microplastics. This not only harms ecosystems but also contaminates our food. As awareness grows, many people are taking action to reduce plastic use, but how can we make a truly lasting impact?

A zero-waste lifestyle is one approach, with more people visiting plastic-free stores, using reusable bags, and recycling at home. While a full transition to zero-waste can feel overwhelming, starting small can already make a difference. For instance, simply switching to a copper bottle over a plastic one helps reduce the plastic harming our water and wildlife. With over a million plastic bottles sold every minute—and only 14% recycled—plastic waste piles up, especially since plastic can only be recycled a limited number of times before degrading.

This mission inspired us to create "Just Copper," a way to store water that’s not only beneficial for health but also fully sustainable. From production to shipping, there’s no plastic used at any stage. Unlike some eco-products, which may still rely on plastic packaging or unsustainable materials, our copper bottles are plastic-free and break down naturally at the end of their life, while plastic can linger for thousands of years.

If you’re ready to make a change, start by choosing a copper bottle instead of a plastic one. It’s a simple shift that aligns your lifestyle with sustainability—benefiting both your health and the planet.
